Inscribed by the Oriole Press printer, 'For Mary and John Buckland Wright With all good wishes from Rose and Joseph Ishill Dec. 1935'. The relationship between Ishill and Buckland Wright was at its height in the year this book was printed as, after a collaborating on Ishill's anthology Free Vistas, they were now producing one of JBW's best and lesser known books 'The Yew-Leaf and Lotus-Petal'. They never met but their collaboration was remarkable and their correspondence very warm - (see 'To Beauty: John Buckland Wright's work with Joseph Ishill of the Oriole Press". Fleece Press, 2006).
