Two works bound in one. First editions. Photographic frontispiece from a portrait of John Bunyan. 20 plates including 7 printed in colour. Pp. xvi, [errata slip tipped in], 42, , lxviii [Appendix]; pp. xx, 91. 4to., bound together in half vellum with marbled paper boards, gilt borders at edges of vellum and on spine, red morocco and gilt spine label, all edges red, marbled endpapers. Boards rather rubbed with some wear, soiling to vellum.
