One of 300 copies. 9 wood engravings being brilliantly wrought caricatures of the Royal Family as fantasy sea creatures, one repeated on the title page, printed in brown, and on the upper cover. Text printed in purple ink. 150 x 105 mms, in the original purple printed wrappers, in excellent condition.
Together with a series of 8 different proofs of the engravings on different papers.
This very humorous work was produced for the exhibition of Peter Forster’s work at Katherine House Gallery in December 1983. Forster’s skill, satirical talent and light touch are a must!
