A fascinating insight into Lutyens’s working practices for one of his finest houses, Fulbrook in Elsted, Surrey which he built for the Streatfield family at the end of the nineteenth century. At this point he was working in his famous Arts and Crafts style which later gave way to his form of Classicism seen in his remarkable work in New Delhi, Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral &c.
