Two original wood engravings for The Masque of the Red Death by John Buckland Wright:
Song from Beyond the World III, numbered 7 of a very limited edition of 10 and signed by the artist in pencil. Plus M.S. Found in. a Bottle, signed with his monogram.
Tipped into the original black folder with a label on the upper cover from Harding and Giles stating “This Illustration is the Work of J. Buckland Wright. 30 x 23.5 cms.

Both of these are wood engravings for Edgar Allan Poe’s Masque of the Red Death, executed in 1930 and published by the Halcyon Press in Maastricht in 1932.
They were sold by Harding and Giles, a gallery in Montague Street in Central London in the 1930s.
