Charming woodcut block made for Three Poems by Ananda Coomaraswarmy, printed at S. Dominic’s Press for private distribution which allowed more freedom in subject matter. A jewel of an object.
Previously bought at Sotheby’s, 24th January, 1983, lot 494 where it was wrongly described as being Physick 375 and listed with an invented title.
