Illustrated with 40 engravings. Pp.24. 8vo., original printed paper wrappers. Some soiling but a good intact copy.
Together with the box with a handle sold by Bourgeois Aine in Paris with the guide to embossing and chasing, made from polished walnut with a tray. 28 x 16.5 x 6.5 cm. The original box contained 9 tools and items which were sold with the pamphlet. Although not all of ours are original, we do have 16 tools obviously used a great deal by the female owner and 6 of the 9 items which were original to the 1912 box including the leather mat, a pot of patina with the original lid and label, the hammer, the ‘tracoir and the ‘repousseur acier’

The box is illustrated on p.19 of the booklet where it is advertised for sale at 16 francs. Our box includes a set square which has the name of the female owner written on it in ink - Marguerite Charreire.
