Printed in Troy type on Flower paper in red and black with two 8-line initials and corner and side border. 29 x 21.5 cm. A very good untrimmed copy with a slight crease in the middle where it was once folded and a few small spots
Specimen pages were distributed by Morris to booksellers, customers and friends of the Press. An entry in Proctor’s notebook details this first set of specimen pages as being ‘printed for Quaritch [the publisher] 1892’. Apparently Quaritch ordered 2000 copies.
