Printed by the Fanfare Press in Monotype Cochin on Auvergne paper. 4to., original orange limp vellum, spine lettered in gilt, top edge gilt, others uncut, housed in the original marbled paper covered slipcase. Orange and silver endpapers and slipcase with some wear, tiny pieces of gold thongs missing in two of eight places but generally a good copy.
Mrozewki (1894-1975) left Poland in 1925 and made his reputation in Paris. He illustrated books fo French, Polish, Dutch, English and American publishers including The Gregynog Press. An exhibition of his work was held in London shortly before this Coleridge was published.
