Sm. 8vo., original cream linen in the original brown patterned paper covered slipcase. Rather worn slipcase, spine and ffep slightly darkened, otherwise good.
An important translation of Pindar by the famous Maurice Bowra and H. Wade-Gery delicately printed within borders on each page and with Gooden’s little cooper engravings.
