85 fine plates of lettering (on paper, leather, metal, wood) with descriptions on facing pages. Printed in Ehmcke-Antiqua and Ehmcke-Cursiv Large 8vo., original quarter vellum with marbled boards, lettering in black on spine. Spine a bit grubby and boards a little faded, otherwise good.
A really well printed and produced book which illustrates interesting lettering on manuscripts, artefacts, banners and graphics.
