A Welsh poem translated by Gwyn Williams. 10 coloured wood-engravings by John Petts. One of 500 copies. Tall, thin 8vo., original full blue cloth with profiles of two women in gilt on upper board, gilt lettering on spine, Very mild rubbing to extremities, otherwise good.

A translation of the sixteenth century Welsh poet Cynwal who wrote this poem praising feminine good nature in response to the vicious satire Against Women (Golden Cockerel did an edition of this in 1953 using the same illustrator).
