With a prefatory note by Strickland Gibson of the Bodleian Library. Folding type specimen. Small 8vo., original blind-stamped paper covers, titles in black to spine, yapp edges, glassine jacket, largely unopened, original marbled slipcase. Slipcase very slightly rubbed, otherwise very good.

A lovely copy of this verbatim reprint of the 1640 edition of Jonson’s ‘The English Grammar’, with the fold-out specimen [19.5 x 32 cms] of Poliphilus and Blado types tipped in at rear.
