No. 136 of 425 copies. With an original tipped in wood engraving and 31 device designs by Eric Ravilious. Printed in Perpetua on Zerkall mould-made paper. Pp. 48. 8vo., original blue cloth-backed spine over red and white patterned paper boards. Slight darkening along the edge of upper cover near spine, otherwise fine.

With contributions by John Lewis, Enid Marx and Robert Harling. Eric Ravilious’s decorative wood engravings created for the Curwen Press and the Dent ‘Everyman’ series. The tipped in wood engraving was printed from the block engraved by Ravilious for the title page of the ‘Travel’ category for the Dent ‘Everyman’ library.
