Pp. xix [3] 429 [3]. 8vo., original brown cloth, gilt lettering to spine, t.e.g, others uncut. A largely unopened copy with some minor rubbing to boards, mild offsetting to pages either side of map.
Rhode Island’s Thomas Robinson Hazard’s whimsical reminiscences of Narragansett and his family’s generation-proven method for baking ‘jonny-cakes’, originally a Native American dish, made of corn meal, milk, sugar and water.
