Sm. 8vo., original blue paper wrappers sewn as issued, printed paper label on upper cover, slight wear with a couple of creases to wrappers and chips to spine, one sewing strand has broken.
Although known for his work in developmental biology and genetics, the brilliant young Conrad Hal Waddington was also passionate about poetry and art. Whilst at Cambridge he began The Loft Press printing work by Isherwood and Edward Upward amongst others.
