The earliest 20th century attempt to print all of the debauched libertine poet Wilmot’s works.
William Hazlitt once commented that the Earl of Rochester’s verses ‘cut and sparkle like diamonds’ and many of his bawdy poems bravely satirised the court of Charles II.
