Two volumes, each profusely illustrated with amusing drawings by Alban B. Butler Jr. Collection of drinking songs, popular during the Great War, together with the histories of their 19th century origins. Volume I one of 250 copies, volume II one of an unspecified limited number, both privately printed at the Press of the Woolly Whale. Handset by George W. Van Vechten, Jr. 8vo., original quarter crimson morocco over black cloth boards, gilt illustrations to upper covers, lettering in gilt to spines, t.e.g., illustrated endpapers. Wear to spine ends of both volumes, otherwise a presentable set.

The original prospectus inserted loose in the (less common) first volume.
