Logan Esarey’s classic essays on pioneering life in Indiana. One of 1550 copies, this no. 53. Designed by Bruce Rogers, with his printer’s device on the colophon, and printed by the Marchbanks Press. Pp. 122. 4to., original quarter red cloth over pattered paper covered boards, lettering in gilt to spine, t.e.g. One small stain to upper cover, otherwise a bright copy, lacking the slipcase.
With the original prospectus inserted loose.
The artists, Rogers and Booth, were both natives of Indiana.
