One of 500 copies, this copy marked ‘out of series for review’. Set in Times New Roman type and printed on Zerkall Silurian paper at the Rampant Lions Press. Pp. 96. 4to., bound by Woolnough in original quarter dark blue cloth over specially designed patterned paper covered boards, lettering in silver to spine, original card slipcase with a couple of small marks.
The 1647 debates the New Model Army under Cromwell’s chairmanship, in which the future of the British constitution was discussed, dramatised for radio and the contemporary shorthand record.
With the original prospectus and a printed note regarding the broadcast of Emery’s text on BBC Radio 3 inserted loose.
