Three volumes issued as a uniform set. All printed in Caslon O.F. type on mould-made paper in editions of 550 numbered copies, these nos 300, 205 and 265. 8vo., all bound in canvas backed drab grey paper covered boards. Slight wear and rubbing to edges, spine labels darkened and gently chipped, some browning to endpapers. Volumes II & III with the leather booklabels of W.S. Barlow (causing dark offset to free endpapers) and III also with the bookplate of Stanley William Sykes.
Three reprints of 17th century plays issued with facsimile title pages. The three volumes appeared over 1926 as a series with some excellent introductions.
