One of 25 copies signed by Milhaud on Imperial Japanese Paper (japon). There were a further 275 on Dutch paper. 2 remarkable wood engravings by John Buckland Wright. Pp. 26 Folio, original blue paper wrappers with a printed paper label on the upper cover. Darkening to edges, otherwise very good and extremely bright internally.
Coventry Patmore’s poems, with a French translation are set to music by Milhaud. It was an experiment by A.A.M. Stols in publishing music with original illustrations.
