Foreword by Edgell Rickword. No. 77 of 500 copies signed by the translator. 4 full page plates and 12 headpieces and a title page vignette by Norman Lindsay. Folio, original half blue morocco, blue paper covered boards with a gilt stamped design after Norman Linsday on the upper cover with a gilt border, top edge gilt, others uncut. Spine slightly faded, a little fading to edges of paper boards, corners bumped, slight tear to the lower corner of the morocco, slightly shaken.

Lindsay’s gently erotic and witty illustrations compliment this finely printed edition of Ecclesiazusae.
