John Farleigh (1900-1965) was a noted wood engraver, mural painter, designer and craftsman who was the co-founder and first Chairman of the Crafts Centre of Great Britain which first opened in 1947. As President of the Crafts Centre Prince Philip writes a foreword to this celebration of Farleigh’s wood engravings.
