Folio, in a special binding by Sangorski and Sutcliffe of full brown and green morocco with different illustrations designed by Blythe, blocked in gilt on each cover, top edge gilt, housed with the slipcase of prints in the original green cloth slipcase. Spine faded with a few small marks to the sides, otherwise good. Booklabel of W & P.J. Kupfer on front pastedown.
The artist, and writer, Leslie Blanch hid her true identity by using the name Lavinia Blythe because these images were done 20 years before they were published and after the style of Rex Whistler with whom she had been a fellow student at the Royal College of Art.
