Pp. xvi, 336, 32pp. of publisher’s advertisements at end. 8vo, original apple green cloth, lettering in gilt on spine and upper cover, original black endpapers. The binding is exceptionally bright with only very mild darkening to the spine. The half title is toned from the endpaper, some occasional spotting, generally a very good, strong, bright copy housed in a green cloth clamshell box.
Churchill’s first book which is about his time with Sir Bindon Blood’s expedition of 1897 on India’s Northwest Frontier.
